Nothing weird happens. • The creators of Rick & Morty held their own Comic-Con@Home-esque event over the weekend, during which they shared a first rough look at unvarnished footage from the popular animated series' upcoming Genocider was produced by Sola Entertainment and animated at Telecom Animation Film. Rick is a mad scientist who drags his grandson, Morty, on crazy sci-fi adventures. Their escapades often have potentially harmful consequences for their family and the rest of the world.

Rick appears behind Evil Morty and mocks him, which didn't seem like a hallucination or memory at all. Rick leaves Morty at the Citadel of Ricks, and heads for Tokyo. The Citadel, under the control of Evil Morty, tell Morty that Rick is being hunted by a group called the "Genociders". They are destroying life by changing memories, with the intention that only Rick will be left at the end. Rick and Morty's anime episode Rick and Morty vs. Genocider just tackled some major fan theories, including the one where people suspect Rick is actually Morty.
